Creating a 3D Dance Animation Device

Dancin' with Wolves

A Federal Virtual Worlds Challenge Entry

Movement is important to realism in virtual world simulations. This is a dance device class for learning to create and use animated dance devices.

While this class is often led by an instructor, the materials be used asynchronously by a Second Life student who is familiar with basic virtual world terminology.

The class title Dancin' with Wolves is from the designer's name -- Lyr Lobo, which means shapeshifter wolf

Features: Dances, textures, scripts, learning objectives, and instructional signs. This class supports visual, verbal/analytic and kinesthetic learners. To test the final product, click the Dance ball. To stop dancing, click it again.
